Life is certainly one big balancing act...and one that I more often find...I have a hard time balancing.
Laundry gets piled up, dishes fill the sink, orders need to be shipped out, the dining room table is no where in sight, the tub needs scrubbing, the floors need mopping, the dog needs walking, dinner needs cooking, bills need paying, a friend pops over who needs encouragement, emails sit waiting to be replied to...and on and on and on...
So...for those of you wondering where I have been ;) I am just popping in to let you know that I'm still here...just working on this balancing thing...and when I find myself there...blogging is typically the first thing to fall off...my apologies to my faithful readers for that.
Josh and I celebrated our anniversary on the 1st and had a wonderful day...{and I did take a few pics and have a story for you...to share when the "balancing gets balanced" shall we say}
I have also been very busy preparing an engagement party for my sister this coming Saturday...which has taken up most of my time...I really want to make is special for her and her fiance...so I will be away for just a little bit longer...
Just wanted to let you know, in case you might be wondering ;)
I hope that all of you are blessed and encouraged this week...
Till next time...
{oh and...do you like my new white teacups? I got them for 25 cents each at a thrift store last week. I love them!}

The cups are beautiful! Hope the balancing comes easily.

Your teacups are pretty! Getting balance is like riding a wave. Sometimes you surf long, other times you get wiped out.
Happy Anniversary to you and your Josh.

Oh, it certainly is! First we tip one way, then trying to correct the other! We had quite the meltdown in balancing a week ago but God (and my husband) is so full of grace. Just keep *listening* to Him who is so faithful to guide.
Love the cups, btw!
Have a great day!

Hello dear Alice,
Your new header is so beautiful, and your teacups are so pretty! That was a great price for them. I am so happy for you! You are so right about life being a balancing act! It is so hard to balance it all, but we can depend on the Lord to help us! Just rest in Him as best you can! I pray things will feel more balanced for you soon!
Thank you so much for your sweet comment! I am sorry I have not visited you lately either, but you have been in my thoughts!!! Happy 3 year anniversary to you and Joshua! I am so happy for you both! Renoir looks dashing in his scarf! What an incredibly wonderful project that was. I enjoyed the video so much and cried through it!
I know your sister will love the engagement party you are hosting!!!

Hi Alice,
I really hear you on trying to learn how to balance. You make it look beautiful with those white teacups and what a fantastic price too. At times, I wish we had more hours in the day, but know my to do list would just get longer and longer. Sounds like you're taking care of the really important things and that's what matters most. As always, I love your photography.

Alice!
Great blog ... and balancing ... well, that is often just as difficult as finding beautiful teacups for a song. When you least expect it, sometimes things just work out!
Am using a couple of your pics and telling bloggers about your wonderful site. Hope that is okay.
Love your work!
Hugs!
