and angel beauty...
My sister, Destiney, recently performed in her church's Christmas production...
My heart was leaping with joy...
and filled with Christmas spirit...
and pride that I could call her my sister...
If you can't tell...she enjoys the spotlight...
and I think it suits her quite nicely...
She received a special Christmas bouquet for her performance from my dad and step-mother...
and certainly enjoyed it...
as well as a surprise gift from her ballet instructors...
Which filled her with happiness...
It's a bittersweet thing. Watching her grow. But the beauty and love that grows with her makes it all worthwhile.
Till next time...

What a beautiful, BeAUtiFuL sweetie .. just like her big sister!
I can feel your joy!

What a gorgeous little girl!
Aren't little sisters the best? It sure is a bittersweet thing, though. Away from home, I still find myself thinking of my now 15 year old sister as still being 6- the age she was when I left home.
Thanks for sharing this, Alice!

What a darling sister you have- and what a fabulous dancer! She looks so tickled to get the special gift. I always wanted to be a dancer. I mean, I danced- on my bed- to songs from Gloria Gaynor. I think that was her name. Oh, I wanted to be a Solid Gold dancer, too! Hey, it was the 80's! ;)
