A Gift Wrapped life

Oh, I think your dresser is decorated just perfectly. I wouldn't touch a thing. Nothing could look better than Renoir gazing out the window.

Hi Alice, so glad you are getting settled in your new home! Oh yes, moving is such hard work and can be very stressful! You do need to hurry and get your new studio set up so you can get in there and create some pretty things and unwind! I have decided to move my studio to my daughter's old bedroom, it's a bit bigger and I can start from scratch and make it the way I really want! I know it will take a while to get it done, I can imagine how much work you have been doing setting up a whole new home! Can't wait to see pics of it, I just know it will be gorgeous with your special touches! Love Renoir's new favorite spot, that is just too precious!!! I loved your article on the Paper Posy and your gorgeous pictures in Somerset Life!!! I can't wait to make some of those darling posy pomanders!!! Enjoy your new home!
Love and (((hugs)))

So good to hear from you and that you are finally moved in. Renoir looks content being there.

Oh Alice ~ It is wonderful to hear from you and I am happy to hear you have started to settle in. Snow squalls and strong cold winds here too ~ stay warm and cozy! ;-)

Hi Alice, I always look forward to each of your new posts. It's great to have you back. I can't even imagine how much work it took to pack up all your lovely things. I know it would take me forever! But even though I don't like packing, UN-packing is a different story. i find setting up a new home so much fun! All those opportunities to try new things. I think we can get in a rut sometimes, even if we change things out often.
I hope you look at your new little home as a way to create again and breathe new life into it. I know that no matter what, you will put your amazing style into it and it will be wonderful. All the best!

Hi Alice,
I have missed you sooooo much and I have been thinking about you moving. I can't imagine moving all this stuff in my house! But then I suppose you figure out real quick what you really want to keep and what you want to get rid of.
Take care of YOU and have fun unpacking!!
Hugs~

Moving IS WORK!!!!!! Enjoy the process though. Love the picture of Renoir in his basket.

Moving is such an ordeal...we just did it too about 5 months ago...it looks like you've got a good handle on things...and your dog looks settled in already.

Alice,
So happy to hear that all is well and you're enjoying your new home. Don't you wish that the packing and unpacking would just go away so the decorating could begin in earnest? That's always the best part...figuring out where everything will go.
Are you still in western NY? I found another blogger that is from upper NY and quite close to you. Check out 'coloroutsidethelines.blogspot.com'. Quite good!

Hope you're keeping warm...we're having awful weather here in the Syracuse area.

Alice,
I was so pleasantly surprised to see you posting again, so soon since we all heard of your move. Regardless of the amount of space you have, there is no doubt, in my mind, it will be lovely. Summer is not that far away, so indulge all of us who await your posts and just don't unpack anymore. Smile. You can use your creative spirits to take those photos and write those words that charm us. Glad your family is settled.

Hi Alice glad to read you're back and that the move went well. I know you've got a lot of stuff I know from seeing all of your wonderful stuff through out the months that I've been reading and being inspired through your blog. Make sure you keep out the things that you know you use all of the time and it will be good to get back to your normal rountine. Hello Alice,
I found your blog through the "Artful Blogging" magazine I got for Christmas, and have enjoyed going back through your posts. I'm glad you're settling into your new place with a new home on the horizon. I'm over in New Hampshire and it's freezing over here as well. Your dog is just adorable and your home is lovely. Thank you for sharing!

Loooove the photo of Renoir in his new 'spot'. He'll settle in no time.

Having just unpacked all my studio boxes, I can promise you Alice that it is surely a delight to rediscover all your creative pretties again.

My two Westies each have a chair near our bay window, and never tire of keeping an eye on the comings and goings outside. I know your Renior will be happy in his new locale!
