For the past couple of weeks I have been busy.
Busy creating that is.
I was contacted by a woman through Etsy about a local art show...called Art & Whimsy...for a "ladies night out" event showcasing woman artists and designers in the area.
I was thrilled. This will be my first big show...so I thought I would share what I have been working on for it...
More burlap pillows of course...I am going to have a hard time letting go of these ones...
Embellished with vintage jewels...
Burlap and linen rag balls...
Some paper posy creations {aka...coffee filters}...
My first topiary tree...
and some wreaths...
with some spring decorations...
including these collage eggs...
Some little Easter kits...
Lavender sachet cones...
And of course...lots of jewelry...
I even made a burlap skirt for the table...
The show is tonight 5-10pm...hope I won't be too nervous...but...I probably will ;) I am excited though to expose my little Painted White to this small corner of the world...
Will hopefully get some photos at the show to share later on!
Till next time...

Alice, your creations are beautiful!!! i am in the middle of making eggs, I was so inspired by the JDL magazine, so many darling projects! I can understand why you want to keep the pillows, they are very lovely!! Hope you have a smashing time and sell lots!!

Beautiful! What a wonderful collection of unique items. I love your topiary tree; such a great alternative to traditional plants (I am not great at remembering to water things!) And your pillows are works of art. Best of luck at the show!

Oh my, those burlap and lace pillows, I bet it WAS hard to let those go, haha! If by some small, teeny, itty-bitty chance you didn't sell the cream cameo ring, the one you had displayed in the drawer, will you let me know please? Or if you make another one like that, I would love to purchase it!!! Can't wait to hear all about the show! I hope you weren't too nervous, you really needn't be, your work is wonderful!
Hope you have a lovely week ;)
