Just stopping in for a quick hello. I know I have been quite absent from the blogging world lately.
I have actually been busy thrifting and loading up my Etsy shop. As well as working on website designs again! I am now offering premade designs and hope to get a few more listed in the near future.
I am also enjoying the lovely weather and picked this little muscari bouquet just for you. They are popping up all around this place! I am certainly enjoying all of the spring blooms we are surrounded by here...
Another adventure that has kept me away is that Josh and I have begun the process of looking for our first home.
We have been in savings program for first time home buyers for the past 8 months...and can finally start looking for a home of our very own.
We went to our first open house this weekend...and well, let's just say it was eye opening for sure. This is going to be a lot of work! Especially with our small budget...
But I am trying very hard not to stress too much and enjoy the process...hoping and thoughtfully praying that the right house will come along at the right time...just for us. And I know that will bring so much joy...
So, unfortunately, I will most likely be away here and there...but will try to stop in now and then to let you know I am alive ;). I haven't been able to stop by to visit any of you lately and for that I am so, so sorry. I really do think about it a lot and long to...and hopefully will find the time soon.
Till then...hope you are enjoying this blessed spring!
Till next time...

Alice I'm happy if you pop in to your blog here and there so I get to see your incredibly beautiful photography! I hope you and Josh find a home that you will love and adore!!!
So that is what muscari are! We call them Grape Hyacinths, and they're just awesome. I love driving out in the country come spring time where they're just popping up all over the place. They smell so wondeful, and are one of my very favourite flowers!

I wish you good luck with the house hunting. I have been helping my sister look too, she has found the one she loves but now has to get all of the components together to decide if she can afford to fix it up.
I know from previous pictures that whatever you find you will make it your own and beautiful.

Thanks for stopping by to see my whites. Don't worry about the book, I showed it love rather than have it end up in someone elses garbage. It is my way of using what I love in a different way. Enjoy your day.

I am so excited for you Alice. I hope you find the perfect place to make your own and it will be the thing that dreams are made of. I know that it will take a lot of thought and the process may take time, but in the end, it will be an experience that will bring back memories for you and Josh later in your lives.
I so enjoyed your post about Josh's passion in his art. You two are very gifted people.
It is such a blessing to know you and love you.
hugs

Just such incredible photographs!!! I am fabbergasthed! ;)
I wish you luck in your hunt for the perfect home. It is a tiering, yet extremely excited process for sure! After two years hunting I thought I would never find the perfect spot. But my lovely mother kept telling me that if it's ment to be, it will be mine. And then one sunny late summer day it happend... I found my cottage, my nest... my home in every way!!! I hope you are just as lucky!
It was alot of paint and work to be done once that key was in my hand... but I have loved every tear and drop of sweat and blod it produced! Enjoy every moment of it! :) :)

Hi Alice, I've been a fan for a while now but this is my very first time post. Love your pics! Good luck on your search for your first home. When my hubby and I search for ours we had very little money and a big dream and as soon as I walked in to our home 13 years ago I knew it was "the one"....you'll know too and things will fall into place....happy searching!
