How exciting to finally get to use all of your "finds" in your own home :) I cant wait to see all of your projects with your vintage things that you have acquired. I am envisioning a wall of windows and mirrors going up your stairway....to your grey floors :) Love how they came out btw. Good job!!

Also, I love all of the housewarming gifts that you received. So much better than a casserole.... Haha!!

Can't wait to see loads of photos yet to come!!!!!

Happy House Warming Alice & Josh!
Your photo's are gorgeous as usual, I am loving so many things in them.
Packing is the worst job but luckily when you are unpacking things you haven't seen for a while it makes the whole thing a little sweeter.
Sending you warm wishes from Australia.

Hello Alice... Autumn is the perfect time to start your life in your new home... your photos are just beautiful and I know it will be filled with love... All of your housewarming gifts are so nice... dear little Renoir... I just checked the tracking number on YOUR housewarming gift I sent, and it said it is waiting at the PO Box for pickup, so tell your mama to pick it up for you! Puppies need housewarming gifts too!... love to all of you... xoxo Julie Marie

Enjoy your new home! It reminds me of the excitement I had when we moved into your first home.
That Hoarders show has all collectors worrying if we're one candlestick away from being on the show!!! lol

Warmest wishes to both of you during this exciting time. How wonderful it is to begin anew with your own belongings and with a vision and hard work transform a house into your own home.

Thank you too, Alice, for mentioning the paint color and brand. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it when bloggers share.
Thank you also for sharing your move-in day with us. I can hardly wait to see what is next...until then, enjoy

Frames and windows are gorgeous. Who could pass those up?

Having just moved house 12 months ago I vividly remember the endless boxes Alice, but imagine the fun of finding forgotten treasures in storage.
Renoir looks so cute watching the world go by from his chair. I hope he has settled in well. We just got a new puppy too, you must pop on over and check her out.

Congratulations on your first home!
What lovely house warming gifts you've received. I can just imagine how beautiful your new nest will look filled with all your wonderful treasures ♥

Oh Alice congratulations you remember we were moving around the same time. I'm still trying to get everything put away. I see our boy Renoir is doing just fine and I'm sure enjoying his new home with lots of things to see and new places to call his own.

You and the hubby enjoy your new home!

Awww! Renoir. So photogenic an congenial. Almost makes me want a dog. Our two cats disagree. Beautiful as usual. I admire your photographic skills.

I am so excited to see your "new" things for your home! So excited to see how you will put it all together. I just have this feeling it's going to be spectacular. Wish you lived closer by so that I could visit ;)
